About Us

I received my first sewing machine at age 9 (62now OUCH!) and have been sewing ever since. By the time I turned 10 years old, I was selling my “homemade” doll clothes to the kids in the neighborhood.  In high school I was a teacher’s assistant in three different sewing “home economics” classes and created most of my own patterns.  I was chosen (3 years in a row) to model my outfits in the Spring Fashion Show at The May Company.  My three daughters (ages 33, 34 and 35) didn't know what "designer" clothes were ‘till they were in JH.

I've sewn clothes professionally for over 30 years, wedding gowns, prom and homecoming dresses and even a Miss Teen Colorado pageant gown for my daughter (she did not win).  I sew for my grandchildren now.  Two princesses and three princes, and they are the inspiration and sunshine in my life.

You will love the custom clothes I make for your little ones. I am a detail sewer and you will see it in my work. I serge all my seams and take pride in a top notch outfit and design. When designing an outfit, my creative juices really flow.  I love to mix and match colors, patterns and textures.  Making several different pieces for my outfits makes them very versatile.  And if you add a piece from her own wardrobe, such as a tee, you can have an all together new outfit.
